    El post de hoy no podía ser otro, aunque toda mi ascendencia es Segoviana, no me puedo sentir más madrileña o "Gata" (apodo por el cual se denominan a los nacidos en Madrid que llevan sangre de madrileños de dos generaciones). Porque de Madrid uno nace o se hace. Da igual que seas de otra parte de España o del mundo, Madrid acoge a todo el mundo que quiera disfrutar al máximo de sus calles, sus gentes, su costumbres... o te invita a integrar las tuyas propias.
     Today's post could not be another, although all my ancestry is from Segovia, I can not feel myself more Madrilenian or "Gata" (nickname by which are referred to those born in Madrid that carry Madrilenian blood during at least two generations). Porque de Madrid uno nace o se hace. It does not matter if  you are from another part of Spain, or even the world, Madrid welcomes everyone who wants to enjoy the best of its streets, its people, its customs ... or invites you to integrate your own.

    Madrid, o como los madrileños mal pronunciamos "Madriz", es la capital de España, centro  geográfico del país y punto neuralgico y multicultural por excelencia. Me faltarían líneas y os aburriría hablando de todo lo que esta ciudad ofrece, pero ciñéndome al leitmotif del blog, nos centraremos en su gastronomía.
   Madrid, or as the locals pronounce it wrong "Madriz", is the capital of Spain, and center of the country and multicultural neuralgic point par excellence. I have not enought  lines to write about it and I will bore you talking about everything this city offers, but bound, the leitmotif of the blog, we will focus on its food.

    La gastronomía Madrileña no coge renombre hasta el S.XVI cuando Felipe II instaura su corte en Madrid y la nombra capital del Reino. El origen de esta gastronomía reside en la conjunción de las culturas gastronómicas castellanas y en parte andaluzas. El sello sin duda madrileño es la capacidad de integración.
    The Madrilenian cuisine does not catch popularity until the sixteenth century when Felipe II establishes his court in Madrid and named it capital of the Kingdom. The origin of this cuisine lies in the combination of food cultures: Castilian and Andalusian side. The key of Madrilean food is certainly its integration capacity.

     Hoy os invito a probar los archiconocidos "churros" madrileños, no se me ocurre mejor sitio al que encomendaros  que a la famosa y castiza " Chocolatería San Gines".
